[Intro]
Something’s in the

[Verse 1]
Something’s in the air right now
Like I’m losing track of time (Time, time)
Like I don’t really care right now, but maybe that’s fine
You weren’t even there that day
I was waiting on you (You)
I wonder if you were aware that day was the last straw for me
And I knew I sent you flowers
Did you even care?
You ran the shower and left them by the stairs
Ooh-ooh-ooh, eh-eh-eh-eh, oh-oh

[Chorus 1]
Thought you had your shit together
But damn, I was wrong
You ain’t nothing but a lost cause
And this ain’t nothing like it once was
I know you think you’re such an outlaw
But you got no job
You ain’t nothing but a lost cause
And this ain’t nothing like it once was
I know you think you’re such an outlaw
But you got no job

[Verse 2]
I used to think you were shy
But maybe you just had nothing on your mind
Maybe you were thinking about yourself all the time
I used to wish you were mine
But that was way before I realized
Someone like you would always be so easy to find
So easy (So easy)
Mmm, mmm, mmm

[Pre-Chorus]
Gave me no flowers
Wish I didn’t care
You’d been gone for hours
Could be anywhere
Ooh-ooh-ooh
Ah-ah-ah-ah

[Chorus 2]
Thought you would’ve grown eventually, but you proved me wrong (Wrong)
You ain’t nothing but a lost cause
And this ain’t nothing like it once was
I know you think you’re such an outlaw
But you got no job
You ain’t nothing but a lost cause
And this ain’t nothing like it once was
I know you think you’re such an outlaw
But you got no job

[Outro]
What did I tell you?
Don’t get complacent
It’s time to face it now
Now, now, now, now
What did I tell you?
Don’t get complacent
It’s time to face it now
Now, now, now, now

La traduzione di Lost Cause (Causa Persa)

[Introduzione]
C’è qualcosa nell’

[Strofa 1]
C’è qualcosa nell’aria in questo momento

[Strofa 2]
Ho sempre pensato che fossi timido
Ma forse avevi solo la testa vuota
Forse hai sempre pensato solo a te stesso
Desideravo che tu fossi mio
Ma molto prima di capire
Che è facile trovare altri come te
Così semplice (Così semplice)

[Pre-Rit.]
Non mi regalavi fiori
Vorrei che non mi importasse
Sparivi per ore
Chissà dove

[Rit. 2]

[Fine]
Cosa ti avevo detto?
Non dormire sugli allora
È ora di affrontare la realtà
Ora, ora, ora, ora
Cosa ti avevo detto?
Non dormire sugli allora
È ora di affrontare la realtà
Ora, ora, ora, ora

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?”.
