The Sound è il terzo singolo dei The 1975 estratto dal secondo album in studio I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It, il cui rilascio è fissato al 26 febbraio 2016 per Universal Music Italia. A sue anni e mezzo di distanza dal disco d’esordio omonimo, è in arrivo quest’opera che includerà ben 17 canzoni, ovvero:

Pre-ordinandola, sarà possibile scaricare subito i precedenti singoli Love Me, UGH ed il brano The Sound, tre ottimi anticipi del progetto discografico, che sono comunque scaricabili anche singolarmente.
La band alternative rock britannica composta da Matthew Healy, Ross MacDonald, Adam Hann e George Daniel, torna a promuovere l’album con questa brillante canzone, disponibile negli store digitali da metà gennaio 2016.
In quest’orecchiabile pezzo, un ragazzo si rivolge ad una ragazza, presumibilmente l’ex fidanzata, dicendole di sapere quando si trova nelle vicinanze, in quanto riconosce il suono del suo cuore, e poi inizia una sorta di racconto-dialogo, ma preferisco non anticiparvi nulla rimandandovi al testo in inglese ed alla traduzione in italiano, così potrete capire il significato del brano inedito.
