E’ all’insegna dell’amore e dell’allegria l’ultimo spot Amazon sul brand denominato “holiday 2019“, una campagna pubblicitaria on air da novembre, caratterizzata dal classico clima natalizio fatto di armonia e buon umore: da una bambina che, all’interno di un’abitazione nella quale sono presenti suoi coetanei, suona il mini-pianoforte e canta, a un corriere che canta mentre si accinge a consegnare i pacchi Amazon, che a loro volta cantano e tante altre bellissime scene di gioia e serenità.

Abbiamo detto che tutti, ma proprio tutti, cantano una contagiosa canzone pubblicata nel lontanissimo 1964, un brano che seppur decisamente datato, resta sempre molto attuale. Qual è il titolo? Ve lo dito appena dopo il video della pubblicità sul marchio Amazon.
Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, singolo di Solomon Burke, scritto con la collaborazione di Jerry Wexler & Bert Berns, con produzione di quest’ultimo, rilasciato nel febbraio 1964 per l’etichetta Atlantic Records. Il testo e l’audio di questa versione. Le reinterpretazioni di questo pezzo sono svariate.
Per registrare una cover si “scomodarono” addirittura i Rolling Stones, la cui versione pubblicata il 15 gennaio 1965, venne inclusa nell’album The Rolling Stones No.2 e venne suonata dal vivo insieme a Solomon, nel tour 2002-2003. Un’altra delle più famose cover si rivelò quella dei Blues Brothers (testo e audio), rilasciata nel 1980 per il film The Blues Brothers. La si poteva ascoltare nella scena della loro esibizione in hotel. Visto il successo, questa versione fu anche inserita in tutte le raccolte della coppia composta da Dan Aykroyd e John Belushi, ben sette greatest hits: dalla prima “Best of the Blues Brothers” (1981) all’ultima “Gimme Some Lovin’ & Other Hits” (2005).
