In data 7 ottobre 2014 esce la ristampa deluxe di Adore, album dei The Smashing Pumpkins originariamente pubblicata nel giugno del 1998 dalla Virgin Records. Adore fu il quarto album della band alternative rock americana, che ha dato non poche soddisfazioni al gruppo, primeggiando in Australia, Nuova Zelanda, Francia, Svezia, Belgio e Norvegia.
L’opera è disponibile in un solo CD e doppio Vinile, con le canzoni rimasterizzate, e nel box contenente 6 CD più un DVD. Il cofanetto racchiude 6 dischi, 107 tracce bonus di materiale inedito, demo e versioni alternative di pezzi contenuti nel disco Adore. Presente anche un DVD live, le cui riprese fanno riferimento ad un concerto della band svoltosi al Teatro Fox di Atlanta, in Georgia il 4 agosto del 1998.
L’opera è anche disponibile anche nella digital deluxe edition contenente 90 tracce bonus. La versione digitale della ristampa dovrebbe essere uscita il 3 ottobre 2014.
Il set è stato rimasterizzato da Bob Ludwig , e include le versioni rimasterizzate stereo e mono dell’album; il produttore Billy Corgan ha affermato che le nuove miscele contengono “elementi delle sessioni originali che sono stati memorizzati digitalmente, ma mai utilizzati, come ad esempio una parte del lavoro svolto da Bon Harris “.
