Gangsta Walk è il nuovo singolo di SNBRN feat. Nate Dogg, disponibile nei negozi digitali dal 22 gennaio 2016, mentre dal 26 febbraio sono anche reperibili le versioni Quix Remix e Wax Motif Remix.
Già conosciuto e apprezzato in America per le sue produzioni pubblicate con ULTRA, il producer di Los Angeles ha scelto come nuovo singolo un brano inedito del rapper e cantante statunitense Nathaniel Dawayne Hale in arte Nate Dogg, scomparso nel 2011 a causa di un ictus, quando aveva appena 41 anni.
In poche settimane, la sua nuova produzione, dallo stile rétro ma comunque orecchiabile e ballabile, ha già superato i 2 milioni di streams su Spotify e ora si appresta ad invadere l’Europa! In Italia verrà trasmessa dalle emittenti radiofoniche nazionali a partire dal prossimo venerdì 4 marzo.
Non era mai successo prima d’ora che l’entourage della leggenda della G-Funk, Nate Dogg, licenziasse a terzi una acappella inedita attorno a cui costruire un brano nuovo. C’è sempre una prima volta, dicono… e il merito di tale operazione va al produttore californiano SNBRN che reduce dal successo del suo remix di “21 Questions” (brano di 50 Cent & Nate Dogg), fa buon uso di un materiale così prezioso. La scelta stilistica nella realizzazione di “Gangsta Walk” è quella di dare qualche bpm in più alle strofe originali del rapper americano e di costruirgli attorno un beat che ci piace definire disco-house, nel quale la linea di basso e gli stab 80eggianti fanno da padrone.. diciamo un ibrido tra Disciples e Kraak & Smaak con una spruzzata di Claptone. Mica male, no? :)
Il video ufficiale mostra tre ragazzini ballare sulle note di questa canzone, una danza hip hop americana, che è poi il titolo del brano.
