Meanwhile Up In Heaven è il nuovo singolo dei Kaiser Chiefs, terzo estratto dal nuovo nonché quinto album Education, Education, Education & War, disco prodotto da Ben H. Allen III, registrato ai Maze Studio di Atlanta e rilasciato lo scorso 31 marzo.
Dopo “Bows & Arrows” e “Coming Home“, la band indie-rock britannica rilancia il nuovo lavoro con questa canzone, scritta da Nick Baines, Simon Rix, Andrew White, Richard Wilkinson e Ricky Wilson.
Reduci da importanti festival come Glastonbury e Lollapalooza, il quintetto inglese suonerà per la prima volta in Italia questo pezzo il prossimo 3 agosto, in quel di Massa Martana (PG) nella rassegna Umbria Rock Festival. Ma non sarà l’unico live nella penisola: il gruppo si esibirà dal vivo anche al Circolo degli Artisti di Roma il 14 ottobre, il giorno dopo a Fabrique (Milano), il 16 ottobre al ViperClub di Firenze ed il 18 ottobre al Gran Teatro Geox di Padova.
Il brano Meanwhile Up In Heaven, entrerà in rotazione radiofonica in Italia a partire dal prossimo venerdì 18 luglio, ed è accompagnata dal video ufficiale uscito su Youtube a fine maggio.
