Alex & Sierra sono un duo pop americano composto da Alex Kinsey e Sierra Deaton, che hanno vinto la terza ed ultima stagione di X Factor USA. Sono stati l’unico gruppo a trionfare nella versione americana del talent show, portandosi a casa il contratto discografico da un milione di dollari con la Sony.
Scarecrow è la traccia d’apertura del citato disco, ed è stata scritta da Alex & Sierra con la collaborazione di Sam Hollander e Martin Johnson che ha anche curato la produzione.
