Addicted è il nuovo singolo della giovane cantautrice britannica Jorja Smith, prima sua release del 2021, disponibile da mercoledì 10 marzo. Il testo e il video del gradevole brano.
Il significato della canzone
Il brano, che arriva dopo “Come Over”, realizzato con l’artista giamaicano Popcaan e uscito a inizio ottobre, e “By Any Means”, track di protesta a sostegno dei diritti civili, pubblicata il precedente 30 luglio, è nato dall’urgenza di “concentrarsi sul volere la piena attenzione di qualcuno, che non sta dando abbastanza” ha affermato l’artista. Come recita il ritornello, lei vorrebbe infatti che questa persona fosse dipendente da lei, che lei sia l’unica cosa di cui abbia bisogno, un po’ come una droga.
