Pubblicità Citroen sul Brand: titolo canzone dello spot 100 anni

Nel nuovo spot Citroen in rotazione da aprile 2018, la casa automobilistica francese nata nel 1919 promuove tutto il marchio, quello che termina con una voce femminile che dice “La nostra idea di mobilità nasce dal vostro desiderio di libertà”. Edit: la campagna è ripresa nel 2019 con la seconda parte che celebra i 100 anni. Qui il video integrale.

Nelle immagini della campagna girata tra la Sierra Nevada e Barcellona (Spagna), vediamo diverse automobili Citroen, dalle più vintage (ad esempio i modelli Mehari, 2CV) alle più moderne (come C4 Cactus e C3 Aircross).

Ma qual è il titolo dell’orecchiabile canzone che fa da colonna sonora alla pubblicità?

Il brano chiama “Take the Long Way Home” ed è dei Supertramp, gruppo rock britannico formatosi nel 1970. Il singolo è stato rilasciato nell’ottobre del 20179 come quarto estratto dal sesto album in studio della band Breakfast in America, pluripremiato disco che ottenne certificazioni in tantissimi paesi.

La canzone è stata scritta da Rick Davies e Roger Hodgson, con produzione degli stessi Supertramp e Peter Henderson.
