Lay Me Down è il titolo del nuovo singolo di Pixie Lott, secondo estratto dal terzo studio album “Pixie Lott”, che dovrebbe essere rilasciato ad agosto.
Dopo la deludente Nasty, precedentemente registrata da Christina Aguilera e Cee Lo Green per la colonna sonora di “Burlesque”, la cantautrice inglese ha deciso di posticipare il rilascio del nuovo lavoro, cercando di rilanciarlo con questa canzone fresca e con un buon ritornello, che è stata scritta da Ashton Parson, Matt Parad e Adam Pallin.
Dopo aver rilasciato diversi teaser, in data 5 giugno la cantante ha finalmente caricato su Youtube il video ufficiale della canzone, che mostra una Lott in gran forma e vestita alla moda, in luoghi tipicamente estivi. Vediamo il filmato e subito dopo l’artwork, potete leggere il testo in inglese.
