I Know It’s Over è il nuovo singolo di Jeff Buckley, cover dei The Smiths estratta dal nuovo album postumo You And I, che vedrà la luce l’11 marzo 2016 per Columbia/Legacy Recordings. Il disco propone i primi esperimenti in studio del cantautore e chitarrista americano scomparso per annegamento nel 1997, materiale trovato negli archivi di Sony Music a quasi 20 anni dalla sua scomparsa. L’opera contiene un totale di dieci tracce ed è già disponibile in preorder nelle versioni CD, Vinile (2 LP) e Digitale. Ecco i titoli dei brani, tra cover e pezzi originali:

Nello specifico vi sono otto cover e due brani originali inediti: la primissima versione (mai pubblicata) del suo classico “Grace” e “Dream of You and I”, una canzone dall’atmosfera misteriosa e intensa.
La struggente I Know It’s Over dei The Smiths, viene trasmessa dalle emittenti radiofoniche nazionali da lunedì 15 febbraio 2016 ed è accompagnata dal video ufficiale diretto da Amanda Demme e prodotto da Amy Redford, figlia di Robert Redford.
