Hangover, è questo il nuovo singolo del rapper coreano PSY, con la collaborazione del collega statunitense Snoop Dogg, presentato per la prima volta l’8 giugno 2014 al Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Questo pezzo è stato descritto dall’etichetta come un nuovo inno da party, che si contraddistingue dalla grande energia, ritmo e sound orecchiabile. La label ha anche confermato che la traccia, è solo un assaggio di quello che avverrà nei prossimi mesi: in piena estate verrà infatti pubblicato un altro nuovo singolo che dovrebbe intitolarsi “Daddy”, e che già si candida a diventare il tormentone di quest’anno.
Entrambi i brani, faranno parte della tracklist del nuovo progetto discografico del cantante del mega-tormentone Gangnam Style (oltre 2 miliardi di visualizzazioni su Youtube, un vero e proprio record difficilmente eguagliabile), che dovrebbe essere rilasciato entro la fine del 2014.
Stando ad alcune voci, nella tracklist potrebbero trovar posto anche i duetti con Steven Tyler degli Aerosmith e Brian May dei Queen. Non è chiaro se il suo nuovo lavoro sia l’EP Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 2, sequel della prima parte uscita nel 2012, o se magari uscirà sia l’EP che l’album.
Tornando al singolo Hangover (termine inglese per indicare i postumi di una sbornia), aggiungo che è stato pubblicato in data odierna, e che è possibile vedere il video ufficiale che lo accompagna, uscito poche ore fa (pensate che su YouTube, ha già totalizzato oltre 2 milioni di visualizzazioni). Il filmato che andiamo a vedere (si trova ad inizio articolo), è stato girato girato tra la Corea e l’America.
