Rock Bottom è il nuovo singolo di Hailee Steinfeld inciso con la collaborazione di Joe Jonas dei DNCE. Si tratta del primo brano estratto dalla nuova versione dell’EP d’esordio Haiz disponibile dal 26 febbraio 2016, che a differenza del precedente, include la versione di questo pezzo in duetto con Jonas.
Dopo il successo di Love Myself, l’attrice e cantante canadese classe 1996 torna alla ribalta con questa bella canzone, caratterizzata da un convincente ed orecchiabile ritornello. Quello con Joe è indubbiamente un duetto ben riuscito, anche se non aggiunge poi molto rispetto all’originale.
Il pezzo è stato scritto da Mattias Larsson, Oscar Holter, Julia Michaels e Justin Tranter, come del resto anche le restanti tre tracce che compongono l’EP.
