Il 1° aprile 2014 è uscito per Edel Italy, Empire of the Undead, nuovo nonché decimo album in studio dei Gamma Ray, band power metal tedesca. L’opera fa seguito a To the Metal del 2010, ed è il primo disco senza il batterista Dan Zimmerman che ha lasciato il gruppo2012, per essere avvicendato da Michael Ehre.
Il nuovo lavoro di questa band, propone dieci tracce più un pezzo bonus; disponibile anche la versione CD + DVD: il disco contiene altre 3 tracce live, mentre il DVD propone altro materiale.
