She Looks So Perfect è il singolo di successo dei 5 Seconds of Summer, pop rock band australiana formatasi a Sydney nel 2011, e composta da Luca Hemmings (voce solista , chitarra), Michael Clifford (chitarra e voce), Calum Hood (basso e voce) e Ashton Irwin (batteria e voce). Saranno i nuovi One Direction? Le caratteristiche ci sono tutte: bellocci, giovanissimi e molto bravi.
L’emergente boy band ha recentemente firmato un contratto discografico con l’americana Capitol Records. “She Looks So Perfect” è il titolo del lead single che ha anticipato il rilascio il loro primo EP he porta lo stesso titolo della canzone, ma che farà parte anche del debut album uscito il 27 giugno 2014. Questo pezzo pop rock, scritto da membri della band Michael Clifford e Ashton Irwin insieme a Jake Sinclair che l’ha anche prodotto, è stato digitalmente pubblicato in Australia il 23 febbraio 2014 e in Europa il 23 marzo 2014. Il brano ha raggiunto il primo posto della Singles Chart australiana , neozelandese, irlandese e UK. E’ inoltre stato certificato platino dalla Recording Industry Association australiana per la vendita di 70.000 copie.
Il video musicale che accompagna She Looks So Perfect, è stato rilasciato il 24 febbraio 2014. Nella clip possiamo vedere diverse scene di striptease, tutte al ritmo della uptempo pop/rock. Nel finale anche i ragazzi si calano i pantaloni ma purtroppo per le loro fan, il video si interrompe. Vediamo il filmato.
